If attention was not forthcoming, she would do everything that she could to ensure that it was given to her. Lilith’s behaviour was always frenetic and it often seemed that she did not know what she actually wanted. She was described as being possessed. No amount of attention would ultimately be enough for her. Her incessant crying and whining would only come to an end when she was too tired to continue, only to resume thereafter. Lilith also had a very strong fear of the sound of rain, which would cause her to hide and tremble.
Lilith was given the remedy Elaps corallinus 1M, made from the potentized venom of the coral snake. Elaps is a remedy that is known for its loquacity, egotism and pronounced desire for attention. The Elaps patient wants to be shown by others that they are valued and considered special. As with many snake remedies, there can be a general tendency towards making a strong, even overwhelming impression. It is also a remedy known for a its fear of rain. Strong fears in the Elaps patient can often lead to trembling.
After a single dose of the remedy, Lilith no longer appeared or behaved as if she was possessed. The snake had left her. She has become much more calm and contemplative, and now appears for the first time to be at peace in herself and with her surroundings.
